How to play this variant
- 8×8 board, 12 pieces each.
- Men move forwards but may capture forwards AND backwards.
- Flying kings move and capture any distance along a diagonal.
- A man crowned mid-capture continues capturing as a king.
- Capturing is mandatory (you need not take the maximum).
